Initial Website Assessment for Existing Websites

This applies to websites that are already established by someone other than Amay Web Design.

Before commencing ongoing maintenance, we check the website to identify any obvious issues, outdated software, compatibility concerns or other problems that may affect ongoing maintenance.

If significant issues are identified during the initial assessment, we’ll let you know before carrying out any additional chargeable work.

Regular updates to installed WordPress plugins, where compatible and appropriate.

Updates to the active WordPress theme and related theme components.

Regular website backups, with restoration available if required.

Maintenance clients receive priority over non-maintenance enquiries. Emails are generally responded to within one business day. Email support is for website maintenance-related enquiries only.

How Website Care Works

Your website is monitored and maintained as part of your care plan. When maintenance issues or updates require attention, we’ll take care of them as part of your service.

Getting your website maintenance started is simple.

1. Choose your care plan

Select the plan that’s right for your website and subscribe online.

2. Your first payment is processed

Your first month of care begins once your subscription is confirmed.

3. Provide your website access

We’ll securely collect the access details required to maintain your website.

4. We set up your website

We’ll connect your website to our maintenance and monitoring system and complete the initial checks.

5. Ongoing maintenance begins

We’ll carry out the routine maintenance included in your chosen care plan.

6. Your subscription renews monthly

Your plan automatically renews on your individual billing date each month.

7. Receive your maintenance report

You’ll receive a report outlining the maintenance completed during your care period.

That’s it.

You get on with running your business. We’ll take care of the technical maintenance of your website.

Monthly Billing

All website care plans are paid monthly in advance. Your first payment is made when you subscribe and covers your first month of website care. Your subscription will then automatically renew each month according to your subscription billing schedule.

You can cancel at any time. No further payments will be taken after cancellation, and your website care will continue until the end of your current paid period.

When does my website care begin?

Your website care begins once your subscription has been successfully processed and we have received the access details required to maintain your website.

  • You are required to provide me with website access.
  • I’ll then complete the initial setup and add your website to our maintenance system.

What happens if you have a problem?

If I identify an issue that falls outside your care plan, I’ll let you know before carrying out any additional chargeable work. You remain in control of any additional costs.
