Initial Website Assessment for Existing Websites

Before ongoing maintenance begins, we’ll carry out an initial assessment of your existing WordPress website to identify obvious maintenance issues, outdated software, compatibility concerns and other problems that may affect ongoing maintenance.

This helps us establish the current condition of your website before taking responsibility for its ongoing care.

If significant issues are identified during the initial assessment, we’ll let you know before carrying out any additional chargeable work.

  • Hosting, domain registration or email hosting
  • Premium plugin, theme or software licences
  • Malware removal or hacked website recovery

*If a requested task falls outside the Business Website Care plan, we’ll let you know before carrying out additional chargeable work.

How Website Care Works

Your website is monitored and maintained as part of your care plan. When maintenance issues or updates require attention, we’ll take care of them as part of your service.

Getting your website maintenance started is simple.

1. Choose your care plan

Select the website care plan that best suits your business and subscribe online.

2. Your first payment is processed

Your first payment is made when you subscribe and covers your first month of website care.

3. Provide your website access

We’ll provide simple instructions for creating a dedicated maintenance account for Amay Web Design. Your existing personal WordPress login doesn’t need to be shared with us.

4. We set up your website

We’ll connect your website to our maintenance and monitoring system and complete the initial checks.

5. Ongoing maintenance begins

We’ll carry out the routine maintenance included in your Business Website Care plan, along with any minor website changes requested within your monthly allowance.

6. Your subscription renews monthly

Your subscription automatically renews each month according to your subscription billing schedule.

7. Receive your maintenance report

You’ll receive a monthly report outlining the maintenance completed and relevant issues identified during your care period.

Monthly Billing

All website care plans are paid monthly in advance.

Your first payment is made when you subscribe and covers your first month of website care. Your subscription will then automatically renew each month according to your subscription billing schedule.

There are no lock-in contracts, and you can cancel your subscription at any time. No further payments will be taken after cancellation, and your website care will continue until the end of your current paid period.

When does my website care begin?

Your website care begins once your subscription has been successfully processed and we have received the access details required to maintain your website.

  • You are required to provide me with website access.
  • I’ll then complete the initial setup and add your website to our maintenance system.

What happens if you have a problem?

If I identify an issue that falls outside your Business Website Care plan, I’ll let you know before carrying out any additional chargeable work.

You remain in control of any additional costs and I’ll explain what is required before proceeding.
